I absolutely adored Richard and Hayley’s wedding at Magheramorne Estate 🖤

The day started at home with Hayley and the girls. It was such a pleasure to capture the morning before heading over to Magheramorne Estate for the final touches. My friend Kerry Moore was on makeup and as always she did a brilliant job. The bridal room at Magheramorne Estate is bright and spacious, perfect for getting ready. I was able to move between Hayley and the girls as they got ready and Richard as he greeted guests arriving. This is one of the things I love when preparation and is at the same location as the ceremony, everything flows so well.

Hayley and Richard also did a first look before the ceremony, which is always an incredible honour to witness. I highly recommend a first look if you’d prefer a private moment away from your guests to see each other first, and also if you’ve any nerves it’s good to melt them away with a first look! Hayley also had a first look with her dad, and it was a privilege to capture such an emotional moment.

The Ceremony at Magheramorne Estate

The grounds of Magheramorne are breathtaking, and such an elegant location for a wedding ceremony. Hayley asked for a photo of the back of her dress as she walked down the aisle, I handed my camera to one of their friends beforehand and they nailed the shot! Their friend Barry provided a ceremony that had the perfect balance of meaningful and funny, exactly the kind of ceremony that felt true to them.

Wedding Photography at Magheramorne Estate

Magheramorne Estate is a dream venue for wedding photography in Northern Ireland. The grounds are immaculate and give so many options for photos without ever needing to wander far. Richard and Hayley had planned the timeline of their day so they were able to spend quality time with their guests. Guests were able to relax and enjoy the venue while live cellists played music in the background, guests enjoyed the DIY gin cart while being entertained by the lawn games and Emma from Draw My Guests.

The whole day at Magheramorne Estate had a relaxed and happy atmosphere. It was a joy to document.
