Ryan and Julia’s wedding at Ballyscullion Park was 10/10. Would highly recommend.

Ryan is an old friend, and I had already photographed his sister Chloe’s wedding (who was one of Julia’s bridesmaids), so I knew the day would be full of energy. So much joy all day, the belly laughs were off the charts (with the occasional happy tear).

The morning was relaxed and full of good vibes thanks to Amy Pedlow on makeup and Gemma Managh on hair. Both did an amazing job of keeping everything chilled and on time. With Ryan and Julia getting ready just a few doors apart, and the ceremony and reception all at Ballyscullion Park, everything flowed perfectly. That’s one of the things I love about this venue, it can accommodate prep/ceremony/party all in one place so nothing feels rushed.

Ceremony and Reception at Ballyscullion Park

The ceremony took place in the Strawberry Garden at Ballyscullion Park, which is such a stunning setting. Their friend Mark led the ceremony while close friends added music, readings, and personal words which was heartfelt and personal to Ryan and Julia. Afterwards, they walked through a confetti tunnel with all their guests before enjoying the gorgeous grounds of Ballyscullion Park. We had plenty of time for family photos and a quick couple session without taking them away from their guests too long. Wedding photography at Ballyscullion Park is a dream as you don’t have to walk too far to get a great variety of backdrops. As the evening rolled in, Julia changed into her second outfit, and the Watson Street Band had the dancefloor bouncing. Pleasure as always to team up with Clive from PigMintFilm for this wedding, we’ve worked together so many times over the years and always work creatively together.
