Jon and Ailene’s wedding at The Wool Tower was an incredible day to be part of 🖤

All the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready together in an AirBNB in the morning, which is rare for me and was so relaxed. Ailene chose Dawn Rose on her makeup artist and Ciara Armstrong as her her artist, and the team did such a perfect job. Ailene shared a first look with her dad before leaving, and it was such a wholesome, emotional moment that was such a privilege to capture. While they spent the morning together, Jon left early to greet the guests at the Wool Tower, and didn’t see Ailene in her dress until the ceremony. His reaction was pure joy!

Rustic Wedding Venue in Northern Ireland

The Wool Tower in Broughshane is a unique rustic wedding venue in Northern Ireland. It’s a converted linen mill with a mix of historic character, modern touches, and plenty of natural backdrops for wedding photography. Guests at Jon and Ailene’s wedding were able to enjoy the outdoor grounds as well as the rustic indoor setting, which is full of atmosphere and charm. Their humanist ceremony was led by Sarah Stewart, who did a brilliant job of capturing their relationship in a way that was heartfelt, personal, and perfectly balanced. The flowers were beautifully arranged by Millies Parlour. Everything tied together so well with the rustic vibe of The Wool Tower.

I always shoot solo but I can arrange a second photographer upon request. My good friend Tim from This Modern Love joined me for this wedding, and it was a privilege to collaborate with him on the day. His incredible style complimented the day perfectly, and Jon & Ailene got a brilliant mix of images from both our approaches.
