Joanna and Nick’s Hillsborough Castle wedding was something else 🖤 So much joy and style.

Hillsborough Castle and Gardens is one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic wedding venues, and it provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding. Having the ceremony, reception, and bridal prep all at Hillsborough Castle made the day effortless and seamless for everyone. Nick was getting ready just a few minutes walk away from the Castle (at the newly renovated Arthur’s), which meant I could spend time with them both before the ceremony. Their guests travelled thousands of miles to their wedding at Hillsborough Castle, and they created such a warm atmosphere.

Bridal Prep at Hillsborough Castle

Bridal prep took place at Hillsborough Castle, with my friends Dani Belle and Kerri Moore on hair and make-up. Joanna’s wedding dress was by Martina Liana, a design that complemented the setting of Hillsborough Castle beautifully. Nick and his groomsmen looked sharp in suiting from Robbie & Co in New York, bringing the touch of their New York style to this Northern Ireland wedding.

Wedding Reception at Hillsborough Castle

Their ceremony, delivered lovingly by Joanna’s brother, was held in the Throne Room. Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed various historical rooms and the immaculate grounds in the Castle. The meal and dancing was hosted in a marquee by AR Marquee on the grounds of Hillsborough Castle. Flowers by Lorna Brownlee filled the space with natural beauty. Guests were welcomed with music by pianist Siobhan Flanagan, enjoyed catering by Craft Event Co., and drinks from Nightcap Events. The wedding cake by Sugar Flower Cake Company was a highlight, and the evening entertainment by my friends Bespoke Music Solutions kept the dance floor full.
